Just wondering. I got it a week or two ago, and only played it a few times. It takes a while to do anything.

it’s not quite that pretty on my computer. My video card is a bit dated and is holding it back a bit. Still pretty nice.

I do. The time that it takes to do anything fast becomes part of the appeal. Space truckin’ is a great way to unwind.
Also, invest in a HOTAS setup to get the most out of it.

yeah, hotas isn’t going to happen. I use a cheap joystick and keyboard. Maybe the cheap thrustmaster. I feel like saving up and waiting for occulus rift would be the best way to spend the money.

Yes, but you still need a keyboard, since you can’t map all the functions you need on the pad.

I have a fairly old video card 9800gt, and it plays okay. I have a decent processor though.

I played it a lot but then I couldn’t effectively play with my friends so I stopped, one 1.3 gets out i’m going to start playing it again though.

well one problem is in MMOs you have group finders and things like that and that kind of thing doesn’t exist in this game. Plus the quests are not group friendly at all. You are effectively playing like a sandbox game but without the content you see in games like Skyrim.
It really will show the difference in approach from this games, release a game and build on it, idea and Star Citizen’s approach of having all the features and THEN releasing it once both games are out.
